“lot more that we’re going to unveil later in this fall,” related to Portal, including “new form factors that we’re going to be shipping.”

It is still not clear what is the form factor, but TechCrunch has speculated that the device could be ‘Ripley’ which generally appears in the Portal firmware repositories. According to a report, the Ripley will help customers attach some kind of camera in their televisions and will help them use the TV as a video chat screen.

According to Bosworth, the sales numbers of Portal have been very good. The number of sales was not mentioned anywhere. Facebook has been battling a lot over the privacy issue for the last couple of years. The company is still investing its money on Portal and according to Bosworth:

“because we think there’s a whole new generation of hardware coming out.”

He added:

“Hardware is coming to the home, and we want to make sure that human connection, the connection between two people, is a first-party experience on that hardware.”
